Anna Fowble MS, RDN, CSSD, LD

Anna is a registered dietitian that specializes in sports nutrition and eating disorders. Anna’s passion for helping athletes improve performance through nutrition started in college where she competed on the Murray State University rowing team. This lead her to pursue a Masters in Sports Nutrition at Florida State University. She spend several years working in college athletics at the University of Florida and University of Louisville. Most recently, Anna in Louisville, KY working with high school, college, and elite as well as recreational athletes.

As a board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, Anna has a deep understanding of the nutrition demands for athletes of all ages and skill levels.While at the University of Florida, Anna trained with the nationally recognized nutrition therapist, author and speaker Karin Kratina, PhD, RD, LD/N. It was from this experience Anna acquired unique nutrition therapy skills such as mindfulness and intuitive approach that go beyond traditional methods. Anna’s non diet approach to nutrition therapy will help those struggling with eating disorders, body image, exercise resistance, overexercising and emotional eating difficulties. Anna’s approach to nutrition therapy is unique to each individual’s needs and is given in a positive, non-judgment manner.

 

Jennifer Teems Saey, MS, RDN, LD

Jennifer serves as one of the TD Wellness nutrition counselors and digestive health experts. Jennifer has practiced as a Registered Dietitian since 2008, serving a diverse mix of people from those managing complex medical conditions to those who are well and wishing to prevent disease.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and a Master’s degree in Nutrition from the University of Georgia, she started out practicing in New York City in the Mount Sinai medical system. In 2010, she returned to her home state of Georgia and worked as a clinical dietitian for Piedmont Atlanta Hospital for four years. She now works in private practice consulting one-on-one with clients on an outpatient basis.

More recently, Jennifer has shifted her focus to working mostly with digestive health clients. This change came after she was able to see first hand time and time again just how powerful dietary changes can be for this population. Now digestive health patients such as those struggling with Crohn’s, ulcerative colitis, IBS, and post-operative GI clients make up about 90% of her practice.

Jennifer resides just outside of Decatur with her husband John, her daughters Edie and Lane, and Harold the dog. The things she loves most in life are her family, her friends, getting outside in any capacity, music, yoga, and cooking healthy foods for her picky or adventurous (depending on the day) little ones!

 

Anne Bartolucci, Ph.D, C.B.S.M.

I am a fully licensed clinical psychologist and board-certified Behavioral Sleep Medicine. My previous experience also includes three years as a health psychologist and sleep medicine specialist in a pulmonology/critical care/sleep medicine practice. Being in a medical environment allowed me to observe first-hand the benefits of making small changes toward larger goals. During that time, I worked with patients who suffered from a wide range of sleep disorders, and I co-directed a smoking cessation clinic.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and mathematics from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama, a Master of Science degree in psychology from the University of Georgia, and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Georgia. I completed my predoctoral internship at the Central Arkansas Veterans’ Health Administration.

Popular press appearances include consulting on articles for Cosmopolitan magazine, Slate.com, and From The Grapevine. I have also been on Fox 5’s “Good Morning Atlanta.”

My professional memberships include the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine, and Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.

Erin Johnson, MS, RDN, LD

Erin serves as one of the TD Wellness restaurant and foodservice experts. She worked over nine years as a professional baker and pastry chef, and has a lifetime of experience cooking and gardening finding healthy fresh sustainable recipes for a harmonious balanced diet.

Erin received her Master’s in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at Eastern Michigan University. Now as a registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist Erin combines her passions for nutrition and foodservice as school garden coordinator, restaurant menu analysis consultant, and has served as former culinary instructor at Le Cordon Bleu school of Culinary Arts. Erin strongly believes that education and engagement with growing and cooking food are effective steps toward lifelong healthy eating habits.

Christi Hansen, RDN, LD

Christi serves as one of the TD Wellness restaurant and foodservice experts. Christi completed her MS in Human Nutrition and accredited internship at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. While in Montreal, she also led cooking workshops at food banks, CSA drop-offs, community centers, and dormitories. Before pursing her studies in nutrition, Christi spent 2 years teaching English in France and volunteering on diverse organic farms. After returning home, she worked as head cheesemaker on small family goat farm just south of Atlanta. Together with her partner, she now co-owns and operates Hungry Heart Farm growing vegetables through a partnership with the goat farm. Christi also works part-time as a clinical dietitian in an Atlanta-area hospital and is developing a specialization in dietary management for GI disorders. Her work as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist aims to bridge clinical outcomes and culinary know-how through food-based dietary interventions.
