He is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, Certified Exercise Physiologist, Certified Quit Smart® smoking cessation counselor, and is fluent in Spanish. He strives to find solutions for healthy living for individuals and groups looking to enhance their health, and to them find ways to build a healthy and positive relationship with food and eating.

David believes food is medicine, finding balance in life, and building positive relationships in life. His passion for food and nutrition comes from a profound belief that health and well-being is rooted in the harmony of mind, body, and the spirit, and with a little hard work his clients can achieve a place of harmony. The key in David’s practice is to focus on empathy and listening to clients through a little detective work, thereby building trust and understanding from the client.

David loves to spend his spare time cooking, traveling, and relaxing with his family. He also enjoys teaching indoor cycling, hiking, biking, and practicing martial arts. He holds the rank of Sandan (third degree black belt) in the Japanese martial art of Aikido.
